blowtorchbaby: Welp, I’ve decided to retire my previous Tumblr avatar because it possibly made me come across as an alcoholic, so I decided to post it here full-size along with an explanation. This was taken by Emily at the Flaming Lips concert at the House Of Blues in NOLA last June.  It was the final show on their record-breaking string of 8 concerts in 8 different cities in 24 hours.  I’m sure that record will be broken very soon.  Anyway, I thought I was being pretty clever by cracking open a Guinness right at the moment they took the stage to break the Guinness record.  Yeah.  Anyway part 2: I don’t drink very much, especially for someone from New Orleans.  For example, I’m halfway through a trumpet-shaped bottle of vodka that I bought over 3 years ago.
